Hermon Laboratories laser laboratory conducts Laser, LED and UV equipment testing for medical, military, industrial and communication applications. Wavelength, power, modulation and exposure time characteristics can be measured and safety evaluated for class 1 to 4 lasers and according to laser related standards.
Hermon Laboratories also certifies medical applications for class 3B and class 4 laser equipment according to the IEC 60601-2-22 standard; providing a single-stop for CDRH certification.
The use of power detector testing equipment enables radiometric testing which is not dependant on the wave length/color. High-speed Silicon and Gallium Arsenit detectors are used to detect the wave form, pulse width, and duty cycle of laser pulses.
