Hermon Laboratories provides acoustic testing services for telecommunication and home appliances and well as many other types of equipment. The equipment is required to conform to GR-63-CORE Issue 3, ISO 3744 and ISO 3746.
Sound pressure level measurements and noise immunity tests are performed in an anechoic chamber equipped with high quality microphones, conditioning amplifiers and an FFT analyzer. The FFT analyzer is used to measure sound level, spectrum, distortion, S/N ratio, flutter and wow. A white noise generator is used in conjunction with the anechoic chamber for immunity testing alarm system devices.
