TCA 8200 includes a comprehensive array of features that address R&D testing needs.
Design verification based on commonly used standards
The ability to verify your design based on common industry and regulatory standards ensures compliance, interoperability and proper performance of your equipment. TCA 8200 comes with thousands of tests covering the supported standards and hundreds of general-purpose tests suitable for R&D testing applications. Multiple suites and tests can be grouped and modified to create custom test suites to cover your test specifications.
Functional testing
Functional testing of different analog, T1, E1, VoIP signaling features at various network conditions with built-in pass/fail criteria, timing and signal measurements is supported. Different networks, switches, COs (Central Office Equipment) and CEs (Customer Equipment) can be simulated by programmable network conditions and call scenarios. Read more
Manual operation for development and debugging testing
Manual operation is supported by on-the-fly control and "manual" tuning of test parameters including pause/resume/continuous run functions and discrete test points.
Tests can be run directly from the test suites or from the projects. Test results are stored automatically in the test projects. Test reports in MS Word format can be automatically generated for the entire project.
Display and analysis features
Test results are displayed on multiple graphs and tables with configurable formats, limits and verdict criteria. Off-line results analysis is facilitated by zoom, markers, search graph features and by copy/paste capabilities enabling the transfer of test results to other applications.
