Fast and accurate production testing is supported by the thousands of programmable tests; automation, remote control and networking features.
Fully automated testing & documentation
Built-in and user-defined test suites, can be performed automatically with either no or minimal user interaction due to programmable test settings, limits, verdicts and EUT control. Tests can be run one at a time or together in sequences, results can be stored and reports can be automatically generated. User executable programs can be automatically run during testing. Testing can be further automated by means of external accessories such as barcode readers and foot pedals.
Signaling and remote EUT control
Programmable signaling procedures allow call establishment with EUT during testing and measurements. EUT can also be controlled by programmable ASCII commands over LAN, USB and serial interfaces. These features provide for fully automated test execution.
Built-in standards and general-purpose tests
TCA 8200 offers thousands of tests that cover the standards and hundreds of general-purpose tests that can be customized and tailored for Production testing applications.
User defined tests, test suites, and projects
User tests can be created and modified based on existing tests by setting the test parameters, limits, results format and EUT control. The tests are conveniently grouped in test suites. Projects created from one or multiple test suites provide powerful tools that can run and manage tests as well as store and document test results.
Functional testing
Functional testing of different analog, T1, E1, VoIP signaling features at various network condition with built-in pass/fail criteria, timing and signal measurements is supported. Different networks, switches, COs (Central Office Equipment) and CEs (Customer Equipment) can be simulated by programmable network conditions and call scenarios. Read more
Network operation
Multiple TCA and PCs running TCA software can share a common database of tests, suites, results, projects and reports over LAN, providing for centralized management and monitoring. All data can be backed up (and restored) over the network. The test execution can be triggered automatically by a timer or remote command sent over the network.
